What do you think about all the old trucks etc that litter our fields alongside the Motorways?
No ads ever appear on them anymore, so the Farmers just leave them to become rusting hulks in the fields, i have never been a fan of this form of advertising, but it just incenses me that they are not made to clear up these eyesores i think the local councils should make them clear up these things, what does everyone else think

This form of advertising is actually illegal, which is why so many are no longer used. And yes, it’s their fields for them to do what they like with them (I’d like to see them get some of these old lorries out the fields), but if you’re that upset you could try asking the council to see whether they’ll step in. Don’t get your hopes up.

My dad has this yellow long Tonka truck. I can’t really find on there that will help me. Except it does say ‘Gas Turbine’ on the door. but you can’t really see it unles you look close. i would like to have some web sites i can go to to see how much it is. Please Help!!!
Check out neatoldtoys.com. Have several links. Unfortunately, the Gas Turbine isn’t a very highly collectible item just yet. Made in mid-60′s to late ’70′s to resemble the ford turbine vehicle. Ebay has a few on auction you can search through and get ideas of what they o for. Depending on your model, being yellow, sounds like it was the tractor for a car hauler or sand dump. may be able to bring $20-$60 dependng on condition and who wants it.

how much these cost and how difficult to put together?
what you would think of someone who put these together as a hobby and sold them?
i find it silly that people spend months or longer fixing a car that will never be as fast as current cars or as reliable.
and after watching an informing episode of top gear sounds like torture to drive.

Why women dont understand the value of vintage and classic cars?
Why most of women dont understand or appreciate the value of vintage and classic cars, like if you want to restore one at home and your wife is daily complaining abut it beaing around and asking you to get rid of it and telling you instead of wasting money on your project buy a new car? why they dont understand for example the diffrence between an old great classic pontiac 1970 firebird and a new 2007 Toyota Yaris? my wife openion is the Yaris worth the money you pay and is the real car and the Firebird is a piece of junk, I wonder ???
I don’t know, my wife’s the same way. Ladies like fresh things like flowers and puppies and late model cars, maybe it has to do with their baby-making wiring?

There may be links to informational sites with gas mileage information but not likely, because there will be such a variety of engines and modifications over the years. At www.wikipedia.org you can often find details of the engine size for classics if you search by year, make and model. For those you mentioned there were choices of engines, but in general figure the V8 engines were getting 10-15 miles per gallon
in those days, they were really heavy vehicles with inefficient carburetor systems.
what 5-10 year old diesel trucks and cars hold their value?
I’m looking for 5-10 yr old cars and truck that run on diesel that hold their value. I found a 05 Mercedes e320 CDI that is worth 250% of original value and a VW Jetta that is 164% original value. My husband asked me to do this search so I’m not sure what he is planning but he asked me to find out so here i am finding out, thank you for you help.
I’m not 100% sure on the diesel cars since I’ve never looked into them but as far as trucks go…Chevy’s seem to hold there value the best then it’s Ford then Dodge. Though you can’t go wrong with either one of the 3.
